I have only been married 7 years. Late bloomer!!! I remember a lot of people from Brunssum but probably no one remembers me because I was always the quiet one in class. My sister Debbie was 2 years behind me and she graduated in the class of '73 and married a Spec4 there at Afcent. They are still married and live in North Carolina. Love to hear from anyone.

It's funny, but I seem to have clearer memories about my 3 years at AFCENT than my last 2 in the states. Anyway, if you're incined, drop me a note!

Name: Dave Thompson Years at AIHS: 1969 - 1972 (CDN) What I've been up to: We recently held our first Canadian AFCENT reunion, here in Niagara Falls in August '04 and what a success it was. It was fantastic to see again, talk too and reminisce with former students, parents and even four CDN teachers from 30+ years ago. The smiles, hugs and laughter quickly overcame any hesitations about attending. It was a great weekend and everyone had a terrific time. It's amazing the memories that were remembered from 30 odd years ago and yet many of us can't seem to remember last year very well... There was a ton of photo's and various memorabilia brought along to display and some great slides to watch. I was surprised at how much memorabilia had been kept by everyone after all these years. We had 50 people here and are hoping for more when we try and get together again in 2006 - maybe..... in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Check out our web site www.afcent.ca for update on '06, photo's from the '04 reunion, peruse our Alumni list and please leave us a message. Thank you to Ruth Kneale for this wonderful AFCENT site. It was my inspiration and a huge help in me finding former Canadian AFCENT'ers to start our own web site. Don't hesitate if you ever have a chance to attend an AFCENT reunion, do it! The memories that will be brought back and the chance to reminisce and remember such a great time and place will give you such a high. Thanks...
