What I've been up to:
I left AFCENT and came to the U. of Arizona, in Tucson
Arizona, on an AFROTC scholarship. Made it three years
before seriously injuring my knee and getting medically
discharged. I switched majors to astrophysics and
graduated in 1991. After a brief stint as an engineering
aide for the Mt. Graham Telescope Project, I came to work
at the Gemini 8m Telescopes Project, where I still am,
and loving every minute of it!
Comments:
Info on the personal side: I'm still single, with three
dependent cats and entirely too many books. I'm moving
in about two years for the job (hopefully to Chile) so
am trying to hone my Spanish!
What I've been up to:
After graduating attended the University of Texas at Austin
and graduated in 1987 with a BBA in Data Processing and
Analysis. I decided that the future looked bleak for professional
bartenders so I gave in and got a real job programming. I now
work as a software developer for a company located in Temple
Texas. Married, two girls, three dogs, two cats, and considering
a second computer for the home.
Comments:
I really like this web page (great job Ruth!) and look forward
to stumbling across some old friends.
What I've been up to:
I left AIHS in 1989 for a boarding school in England and
believe me, compared to AIHS, this school is like hell on
earth. Due to failure of exams, I have taken some years
again, and again and again...
I hope to go to the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts
in the summer of 1997.
Thats all folks!
Comments:
Do the current students still get marched down to their
swimming lessons by the staff?? I remember accidentally
stepping out of line and getting my arse kicked. Never
again...
What I've been up to:
Currently graduating from Ohio State with an MBA in International Business and Marketing. Graduated HS at Patch, went to American University, in Washington, DC. for undergrad. Married.
Comments:
It's been a long time since AFCENT, don't know if anyone else can remember back that long. Attended 6th to 9th grade at Afcent. Anyone else from that period out there? My e-mail is campbell.306@postbox.acs.ohio-state.edu.
What I've been up to:
After leaving Holland in '77 I worked odd jobs in El Paso, Tx
for about 4 years, just partying and enjoying life. In July
81 I joined the Air Force to travel with the hopes of going
back to Holland some day! I've been working as a Medical
Administrative Specialist for 15 years now and am currently
assigned to McConnell AFB, KS since July 94 upon my return
from you guessed it "Soesterberg Air Base"! I was stationed
at Soesterberg from Sept 91 until July 94 at which time the
base was closed for good. During my time in Holland I revisited
the old High School and witnessed the construction of the
new school. The only person I got to see while there was Mr.
Speth still toilling around as he always did! Times have
really changed the country of Holland but the people remain
the same and making and meeting new Dutch friends during my
tour was the most memorable time of my life! Tot Ziens!!
Comments:
For any and all alumni surfing the NET, please don't ever
forget your Dutch roots and stay in touch with those close
friends we made and became! I'm still intrested in getting
together with some of you in a reunion to celebrate our 20
years since graduation. I'll never forget the reunion in
Sep 88 at Lake Tahoe! I only wish that the reunion association
has made plans for another reunion soon. Right now I am
searching for Joe Dolim whom I last saw in 88 while he was
living in Palm Springs. Has anyone heard from him or know
where he is? Also I want very much to get in touch with
Lisa Jones who went to Afcent in the 70's also. I still have
her yearbook and I think she would love to have it since we
lost contact after her family left in '76. She has never
seen the yearbook or read all the well wishes from her many
friends so if anybody out there knows where I can reach her
please post here or email me at Morales@22mdg.mednet.af.mil.
Thanks and great home page RUTH!!
What I've been up to:
I attended the University of Illinois and got my B.S. in Microbiology in 3 1/2 years (thanks to Mr. Gage, Ms. Catherwood and AP credit). Currently I am working on my PhD in Microbiology at the University of Wisconsin at Madison. I was recently in Austin TX for the wedding of fellow alum, Laura DeLong. I visited AFCENT about 2 years ago, and the school (as the class of '91 knew it) is LONG GONE, which I found totally depressing.
Comments:
That Patch DoDDS alumni page offers links to other school pages, but AFCENT wasn't one of them (as of 04/06/96). I stumbled across this page's address in the comments section. Maybe more people will find this page if you can get a similar link. Otherwise, nice job.
What I've been up to:
I've had a few ups & downs since leaving Europe in 93.
I worked full time as a secretary/contractor for Lockheed
in Monchengladbach and attended night classes with
Unv of Maryland during that time. I married a British
soldier before returning to the States. It didn't work out,
but it turned out for the best, because I met my husband,
Todd here in New Mexico and have been blissfully married
for almost 2 years and am the proud mother of a 6 1/2 month
old, Glenn. Todd makes a good living as a programmer and
I'm able to stay home with Glenn; a rare treat in these
hectic times.
Comments:
I'm very pleased with the progress that's been made these
past few months with the AFCENT contacts. I'd like to see
a list of addresses sorted by year on this home page. The
overseas alumni contact page tends to be backlogged - at
least for the past few months. But I can't criticize
because you're making leaps & bounds as far as I'm concerned!
What I've been up to:
My name is Nick Wood, (HI Suzanne Denmark!!!)Remember me?
I went to AFCENT from 77-84 I was initially part of the
British section but transferred to the American section when
the Brits went to RheinDahlen British school. I am still a
British Citizen, but am living happily in Southern Florida.
I am working as a network integration consultant, I specialize
in LAN to LAN conectivity. Anyway, I'm glad to see that there
are people who savour the wonderful experiences AFCENT had to
offer.
Comments:
I hope that everybody who remembers the good times we had at AFCENT
AIHS will eventually find themselves and there past relationships
on these Web pages. My E-Mail address is vlinder@gate.net.
SUZANNE DENMARK - write me, and tell your mom too!!!
What I've been up to:
After graduating AIHS in 1989, I attended the Florida
Institute of Technology in Melbourne, FL. I had an Army
ROTC scholarship, but lost my commission on a breach of
contract during my fifth year at Tech. I graduated from
Tech in 1994 with B.S.s in Applied Mathematics and Ocean
Engineering. I then moved to Colorado to attend the
Colorado School of Mines. Currently, I'm working full
time as a mathematician/programmer for a software
engineering company and finishing off my graduate work.

I returned to Petwawa, Ontario, Canada. Yep, I am one of those crazy Canuks. Anyways, I came to the Niagara Region, graduated with an Honours degree in Psychology from Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario. I have worked in Young Offenders facilities, (custody for teens), and a variety of other social service environments. I am currently working at the March of Dimes, as a Support Services Co-ordinator in the Independant Living Department. I am married, and have two daughters, aged 7 and 9 years. I would really like to find some of my US friends, especially Lisa Finstrom. I know that after leaving AFCENT, she went to Carmel, Calif, then to college in Oberlin, Ohio. After that, I lost touch. I would really, really like to find her. My email address is sharcomb@npiec.on.ca Hope to hear from some of the people at AFCENT when I was there. (Evelyn Elder, Lisa Winton, Denys and Donna McDermid, and anyone else I knew from then. Go LIONS!

The day after graduating I and several others from my class flew back to the U.S. I a received a Bachelor's in Psychology (1977) and a Master's in Education (Counseling, in 1989) from the University of Texas at El Paso. I am currently a Clinical Research Manager for a pharmaceutical research organization in Austin Tx.
Comments:
I found it both comforting and disconcerting to have come upon this page. Comforting, because this page is proof that AFCENT school wasn't just a dream that could never be truly shared with another. And disconcerting in that this page may lead to sad answers for sad questions about others from my class. If anyone knows of others from the late 60s and early 70s, please drop a line.

Just cooling my jets in Oklahoma, majoring in English at the University Of Oklahoma, all that good stuff. These days I just spend my time looking for you guys, finding you guys, and becoming ruler of a small, independent nation just outside the window...
Anyway, all you people out there who know me best write quickly so i can build up my vast arrays of friends once more...

Well, I just want to thank the Academy for letting me practice my art in such a town, Captain Kirk (not William Shatner) for all the good times, and Ruth Kneale for making this whole beautiful shrine in the first place.

I want mail!
What I've been up to:
Well there have been a lot of things happening upto now.
To say it in short terms, I`ve just passed my ABI at a school that`s situated far behind the moon, to be more preceise, at Buchen/ODW.
But before my family and me have been moving for two more times.
Well I really enjoy this area, but as I said before, it`s the real outback. No busses, no trains, just cows and farmers.
Next weekend I`ll go to Köln in order to pass my "Eignungsfeststellung" at the "Offiziersprüfzentrale Köln". So I will join the army for 14 years just as my dad did. For this reason I was at the AIHS in Brunssum.
Comments:
Well what should I say?
I really liked the AIHS and still do miss it.
I regreat that I lost contact to all my former classmates and hope they are all allright.
Hope we`ll meet again somewhere sometime.
Greetings to all those who are still there, especially to the students and teachers from the German section.

I spent the 70-71 schoolyear as a freshman at AIHS. After
that, my family went to Okinawa, where I graduated. College
on the ten year plan earned me a B.A. in anthropology from
Texas Tech in 1984. Got a law degree from Vermont Law
School in 1989. Moved to Baltimore, Maryland, where my wife
got a job with a corporate firm. I did migrant farmworker
law for three years and then quit to be a house wife when
our daughter was born 2 1/2 years ago. We also have a 8
year old son and I have a 12 year old daughter in Texas. I
have stayed in contact with John Thomsen (music teacher) and
ran into Carla Brudvig twelve years ago.
Comments:
Stan, it was good to see a name I remembered! I would love
to get in touch with Mark Wood again! I lost his address
when we shipped off to Oki and lost contact. Also, I think
often about the Canadians. They took me under their wing
when they realized what naive Texan I was. I particularly
remember Jeff Whitehead and Terry (Gilliam?). I've also
told my kids about the time Mike and Jim Walsh nearly gave
me a heart attack when we had a "seance" with their Ouiji
board. Terry Piper taught me how to process photographs.
And all my old crushes! If anyone is out there listening,
send an e-mail: cq686@freenet.carleton.ca

After leaving the sunny county of Germany, I headed
for the tropical paridise of Canada. I know I refuted the
fact that Canada was a frozen wasteland, but during my first
winter back here it certainly felt like it! (Do you think
that they have they global warming thing backwards and the
world is really getting colder?? It didn't used to be this
cold. Maybe the antifreeze has just drained out of my
blood after spending too many years in Europe)
Anyway, back to what I've been doing. I wound up going
to the University of Waterloo in Computer Science. I know
it is such an exciting course, but I am planning on doing
a minor in Philosophy, Phychology, or Business to help
balance it out. Other than the course work and those little
pesky things called 'classes', University has been a blast!!!!!!!!!!!
After I graduate I may take a year or two and live in
the woods in the middle of nowhere to comtemplate my
existance.

As I sit here with my ignoramus partner in crime, Adam Burkett, I've finally decided to drop some comments.
I've been at the University of MD, College Park for the last three years and will actually graduate
on time with a degree in Afro-American Studies in Public Policy (pending completion
of my thesis, keep your fingers crossed). As anyone familiar with my extracurricular exploits would
know, I've always been about some creative musical stuff and I'm still on that tip.
I'm involved in radio and have been studying recording engineering off and on. If
the job market looks crappy enough and I'm still not motivated to go to grad school for Public Policy,
I'm going to be in a recording studio. Mad eclectic and in different directions, that's still me.
You might even peep me in some magazines as a writer. Just keeping the options open.
Comments:
To all of ya'll wondering what happened to Rollo and that fool SAS (Adam Burkett, wannabe thespian),
I'm down for some electronic communication but he's still technologically ignorant so hit him off
on my e-mail and he'll get the responses through me until he finishes technophobe therapy.
Until annunna time, don't commit merious vehicka genasigh in yo' automobiel (if
you never got a copy of the Cecil Seymour dictionary, you're lost!) there is talk of a possible web page solely for the purpose of expligating the extensive knowledge seymour holds, so hold on to your keyboards computer jockies.

Moved to Richmond, Va in the summer of 93 and finished my junior and senior years at Lloyd C. Bird HS. Managed to get FIRED from a fast food joint I worked at (funny story, email me if you wanna hear it). Just got through with my freshman year at James Madison University where I'm majoring in International Affairs. I'm spending the summer working at a paint factory on the assembly line.
Comments:
I have some good, if hazy memories of my years at AFCENT. Right now I'm in college and absolutely loving every minute of it. Chris Weaver (Class of 94) wound up in a dorm a 3 minute walk from mine. I have Chris to thank for getting me back from my first frat party in one piece. I'm not too good at this sort of thing so I'll end it here. Anyway.....if anyone wants to drop me a line email me at grabowcp@jmu.edu while school is in and at Noel__Gallagher@msn.com during the summer.

Right after graduation, I worked in England, earning my British Horse
Society teaching certification. After getting a journalism degree from
the University of Maryland, I combined the two and now work for EQQUS
magazine, writing about horses, I'm getting married in November, to
a newspaper reporter. Who knew being editor of the Lion Tales would be
so prophetic?
Comments:
You always say you're going to keep in touch, and I think I sincerely
meant it at the time, but how sad it is that I can only locate a few of
my classmates. Where has everyone gone? I think of AFCENT often and
fondly, though none of my current friends can believe I went to school
in a 30-year-old "temporary" building where people spoke different
languages, rode the bus an hour to get there, had only 50 people in
their class, went to proms in castles, and were served in bars with
no ID's!

I came upon your home page while searching AFCENT on the web. I was a
medical officer with the 6th General Dispensary from 1972 to 1974. I
would love to find out what has happened ther since I left. Is there
anything else on the web about AFCENT.
The other thing I would be interested in is replenishing some of my
AFCENT souvenirs--they have been well worn over the past 20 + years.
Do you know of any way of getting a hold of any of these.
I have fond memories of AFCENT, Brunssum where we lived and the entire
province. We actually lived in what was then a new "bungalow" on
Eisenhowerstraat--near Merkelbeek. If anyone is interested I would be
happy to share some of my memories.
Please email me at kampell@mskcc.org.
What I've been up to: After a 3 year stint in the Army Reserves and 2 1/2 years at Iowa State University, I married my Marine husband Tom in December 1990.
We moved to Pensacola, FL in March 1991. While he attended flight school, I attended the University of West Florida. I graduated in May 1993 with a B.A. in Communication Arts.
We are currently stationed at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point NC. We have two sons. Robert, 5 and Jack, 2. My husband has been deployed about 9 of the last 12 months. So, I find that I am a single parent most of the time.
I'm lucky enough to be able to stay home with my kids. But, to keep myself from going stir crazy I do a lot of volunteer work for the Navy Marine Corps Relief Society.
Comments: I'm really excited about the upcoming reunion in Arlington. I've kept in touch with a lot of the Canucks. But, I'm trying to track down Pinar Enginsu, Hege Owre, and Gry Taraldsen. Where are you guys? My e-mail address is hoferhenderson@coastalnet.com.
My name is still Laura Henderson. Although I get a lot of flack for it. I kept my maiden name after I got married. And no I'm not a femi-nazi. I just like my name.
What I've been up to: I work for SportHill, Inc., we are an athletic apparel company in business for 11 years. Our primary focus for the first few years was running apparel. About 6 years ago we added a XC ski line that has taken the oudoor market by storm. Our line of KOCH XC gear is the best for any cold weather outdoor activity: running, skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, and cycling to name a few. I started here after graduating with a Marketing/Mgmt degree from the University of Oregon and am currently the Sales Manager. In a small company that encompasses many activities and duties!
Running has been great, provided many opportunities to travel (the part about being a military brat that is hard to miss). I've been to Chiba, Japan; Beijing, China; Seoul, Korea; Australia, back to Europe!, Budapest, Scotland, England, and this March I was in S.Africa for the World XC Championships. I make it around the US often for trade shows and travel with reps. I'm excited to find everyone and potentially hook up during my travels.
Comments: Yes, running has been good to me - but, no Olympics this year. The trials were in Atlanta in June, I ran the 10,000 (very long), made the final and placed 13th there. Only the top 3 go, so it's kind of like....."Top 3, or thanks for playing!" I was happy for the opportunity and wish the final had felt a little better, as top 6 or 7 was within striking distance on the HOT, HUMID evening. Thank god we ran in the evening and not during prime daylight, I'm still alive to talk about it.
What I've been up to:
After graduating from AFCENT in 1990 I moved
to northeast Tennessee, where I
attended East Tennessee State University. After working as
Co-Editor-in-Chief of Lion Tales, with Bryan Wursten, I went on to get my
B.S. in Journalism. While at college, I was very involved with Intervarsity
Christian Fellowship and a local campus ministry, Christian Student
Fellowship (CSF). I had a great time being involved with those organizations
and during the Spring of my junior year of college met Thom Chittom through
CSF, thus the name change! We were married April 16, '94 and moved to
Massachusetts for Thom's graduate work a few months after my graduation.
Thom is now attending seminary to become a pastor/ Bible college teacher and
I am working for an Electronic Publishing company.

I am SO happy to have found this web page. We have been
online for a couple of years and I've been wondering where the rest of AFCENT
was in terms of the Web.
A note to Danielle Bright... Hi! I would love to have both Meg and Kirk
Filbey's addresses! We kept in touch until just a few years ago and then
lost addresses & phone numbers. I can be reached at LCHITTOM@AOL.COM or
LCHITTOM@epnet.com. I would love to hear from other AFCENTers who attended
between 86-90.

Comments: Glad to hear the recent reunion was a huge success! I read
your posting on
the home page about plans for the next one in 2001 and couldn't help but
wonder whynot plan for one to celebrate the new century? I think if we all
worked hard at it we could really create something that everyone would
cherish for the rest of their lives. Tell me what you think of the proposal
for 31 DEC 1999 in New York City (the BIG APPLE) as a time and place for the
next AFCENT REUNION! Maybe posting this proposal on the home page starting a
poll for suggestions of planned sites as well as announcing a planned
"CENTURY CELEBRATION!" would get the ball rolling! Waiting to hear from you
soon and looking forward to downloading the pictures from the D.C. reunion!
Thanks for listening.
What I've been up to: Since I graduated from Afcent in '90 I moved to Alamogordo, NM,
because my dad got stationed there. I was able to stay in touch with
Bryan Sykes, Kathy Rodriguez, Monica Longbine, Christine Harris, and Rachel
Rogers for the longest time but in the last 2 years I've since lost
touch. But while I was in Alamogordo, I took the first 6 months off and
did nothing but vegetate. When I finally couldn't take it any more, I
got a fob working for Albertson's supermarket. Nothing glamourous but it
was money. I spent most of my time going camping in the mountains,
partying, and in general having a bit of fun. Every so often I would
take a class at the New Mexico State University. In 1994 I started playing
soccer in a league in nearby Las Cruces. 18 and up age group and all
amatuers. I still play but not as much because of work and school. I
met a woman in Las Cruces in Dec. of 94 through an ex-girlfriends mother
(go figure) and a year later I moved in with her over there. Her name is
Ginger Parker and I am still living with her. I plan on asking her to
marry me in the next month. So I'll just refer to her as my fiance for
now. Right now I'm attending the Dona Ana Community College for
my associates in Business. I always said I was going to be an accountant
but I'm taking my time. If Ginger will agree to marry me then we plan on
being engaged for about 2 years. We plan to move to Colorado (Boulder
is our favorite choice) and I'll finish up my schooling there.
I can give a brief rundown on the above mentioned people up to
when I lost touch with them. Bryan Sykes joined the Air Force and ended
up in North Carolina, he got married, then divorced, and last I heard had
a new girlfriend. Kathy Rodriguez got married a couple of days before I
moved back to the states to a British guy. They moved to Southern
Colorado with her parents. She had a baby girl (forgot her name), and
ended up getting a divorce about 2 years later. She has since moved one
state up and I lost touch there. Monica Longbine moved to Amarillo, TX
where she graduated and she eventually got married. I forget her new
last name but I have her wedding announcement somewhere. Christine
Harris has moved to Kileen, TX or some town right around there. Not
married, no kids. Last I heard she was working and going to school.
Rachel Rogers moved to Fort Worth, TX, and every time I talked to her she
had a new address, new job, and/or new hair color. She was pretty much
just hanging out and having fun. Taking in all the live rock-and-roll
her ears could handle. If anybody knows about anybody else in our class
or anything new about the above mentioned people, feel free to e-mail me
at jmejia@nmsu.edu.
Comments: I would like to thank Ruth for setting up this section. It's
been awhile since I had thought of any of my old friends. It brought up
many great memories. I hope to hear from more of the class of '90.
Danielle, I would like kirk and Megs address or number. I would like to
maybe be able to organize a class reunion! Plus if anybody remembers my
sister, Monica Mejia (c/o '89), she has joined the Air Force, gotten
married, and has two sons with one more on the way. She lives in
Alamogordo, NM. If you want her address e-mail me.
In 1991, I got a job in Norway (working for 2 years--with children). In
1993, I was married in Sweden to a WONDERFUL, CUTE Norwegian guy (in the
Norwegian Air Force) named Terje!! After we were married, I worked as a
translator (Norwegian/English) and even translated a medical movie. I
also worked for a Norwegian health foods company.
We came over to the States in 1994, so Terje could finish up his degree.
I worked full-time as a secretary.(Mr. Carter's typing and speedwriting
classes really paid off!!) He is majoring in
Communications--Advertising/Sales in Media and we are off to Texas this
summer. (He has an internship with the Houston Chronicle)
In February 1996--we had a BEAUTIFUL baby boy--named Erik Sondre. :-)
He is our pride and joy!! I am a full-time Mom now, with computer access, and enjoying every minute!! I still keep in touch with Jennifer (Alexander) Roman ('88), Brooke Larrabee ('87), Darden (Rachel)Bradshaw ('87), Lisa (Engen)Leggio('87), and Debbie Phelan ('87--but left in '86 to go back to the U.S.)
Comments: I would love to know more info about AFCENT reunions...which teachers are
still over at AFCENT?? Do they have e-mail addresses?? I would love to
hear from anyone in the class of '85-'87!! I miss AFCENT...it was great.
My brother, Lance Rounds, (the stud) is doing well...he is VERY tall and
handsome (and single!!) and studying to be a stockbroker in Seattle. He
was even on an episode of "ER" in November and played a security
guard!! Did you see him?? (I'm 'selling the video' for $19.95 plus
s&h...ha-ha)
C'mon all '87 classmates...don't hesitate to keep in touch with me...it would be great. What has happened to you guys?? (e-mail address is on the alumni listing page)
Thanks for this opportunity to communicate to other AIHS Alumini. Best regards, Sheryl Rice McLandsborough
Or certain students: James Aguilar, Jonathan Shealy, Todd Stenzel, April Gery, or Justin Cooper? If yes, could you say hi to them from Pascal?
Anyway, Vegas is a great place for adults and kids. They've really expanded on to the family vacation theme. You can usually get pretty good discount for groups there too. If you want any more info or want me to gather some brochures from specific hotels let me know, I'll be back there over the Thanksgiving week.
I met my beautiful wife Holly in Korea, she was assigned there too. We will have been married two years in January. Our first child is due any day now (Nov 14) and we are both terribly excited. Holly is still in the military as well working on her Computer Programming degree. We currently live in Sierra Vista, AZ and are assigned at FT Huachuca.
Comments: That's enough about me but I'd love to hear from everyone I knew at AFCENT. I am currently working with Meagan (Baerman) Uken and Katie Grannis to organize a ten year reunion for the class of '89. So guys if you are out there get in touch (suggestions) and email me info on everybody so we can make this thing happen. Besides that write and let me know how you all are doing. My email is: SGT Wayne@aol.com and my home address is 2000 Donna Place, Sierra Vista AZ 85635.
I've graduated from the University of Arizona with a BA in Geography. I worked for the US Geological Survey as a GIS Tech and Computer Cartographer for a while, then transfered to the Arizona Geological Survey and do the same stuff. I am not married yet, but I do have a girlfriend that I live with. As a hobby/obsession I race bicycles (as does my girlfriend). I'm a Cat. 3 racer and '97 state champion in the Time Trial. That's pretty much all I've done (and do) with my life.
Comments:I enjoyed the time I spent at AFCENT and in Europe. I wish everyone could
have that kind of childhood. Anyone that was stationed at Klein Brogel,
Belgium from 1983 to 1988, please e-mail me at pennyfarthing@tucson.com or
through my sister (this site).
After university I left for Calgary, Alberta (above Montana) next to the Rockies. I got married in August 1998 to Karen, nee O'Brien, and we have a puppy named Fergus. We now live in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario (thanks to my job!)
Comments:
Please let me know how you are. E-mail me at jgrannis@lamar.colostate.edu, being a poor grad student my amusements are few and far between.
The second time around I attended CMR, which is the same thing only in French. This College was located in St-Jean, Québec (near Montréal). My second attempt at Military College was a great success. And even though they made us work really hard, the parties more than made up for it. After completing the five year program, I graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and obtained my Commission as an Officer in the Canadian Air Force.
My job is Communications and Electronics Engineer. It's a really
wonderful job, because with computers and everything else nowadays we have
no choice but to be on the cutting edge of technology. I am presently in
Borden Ontario, as the projects coordinator for the communication squadron,
and I'm loving every minute of it.
Comments: Other AFCENT buddies that I kept track of over the years are
Kimberly Barsalou who is now married and getting her Masters in Geophysics in
Calgary. Mary McBain who lives in Edmonton and has also completed her
university education. Paul Rickards who is also in the Canadian Forces (as
a Logistics Officer, I think). Paul is also in Borden at the moment.
I'd like to hear from anybody and everybody that remembers me at AFCENT. It's so hard to keep track of everyone when we're scattered around the world. This Web page is amazing. You are truly doing a wonderful thing!!
I'd like know about any reunions being planned fo the classes of '91, or '92. Hope to hear from all of you soon.
