What I've been up to: OK.. I know this is a far reach. I attended AIHS (well, the elementary school). Wendy Morefield, Lisa Allen, and a pair of twins, one named Jennifer, their last name was Campbell. The principal was Mr. Hall. Clair Jones was the best 1st grade teacher ever! I went to third grade at the "annex." I am pretty sure it was over by the clinic and the movie theater, gym, and chapel. If anyone is out there from this time period, email me: euroafrican@yahoo.com. Not a day goes by that I don't think of AFCENT and all the good times my family and I had there. Hence "euroafrican." lol Prayers to all and your families. God Bless & Peace.

We can revisit all the old places together and spend some quality time catching up. Want to go? Write to me at msvklein@hotmail.com.

What I've been up to: Wow!! 26 years, seems like yesterday when I walked out of AFCENT High for the last time. Been doing alot of things since then. Joined the Army in 1985 and got out in 1991 after a nice trip to Desert Storm. Got married in 1996 and in 2000 become a father of a little girl. Been laid off numerous times within the telecom industry but now work for General Dynamics as a telecommunications Engineer working on military phones systems world wide. Think about the high school days every now and then and have a laugh looking at my old yearbooks WoW!! I pray that all of my old classmates are doing well.

What I've been up to: I (and my parents) am searching for info on a couple of U.S. military families that lived in the same apartment building as we did in Geleen, Holland. The family names are NASH (father Gary, son Craig, also a sister and mother who we can't remember their names), the father was involved with the Scouts Troop 100 program there. The other family name was HANSON or HANSEN. They are an African American family. My parents remember them better than I, but I do remember they had a daughter named Sandra who was probably in high school, there was also a younger sister. If anyone remembers any of these people and can help us out with any pertinent info, where they may live etc, then I would be appreciative of hearing from them. My email address in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada is: afcent@sympatico.ca Thanks for your help. Cheers, Dave

What I've been up to: Let's see... After living in Holland I moved to a stinky place that I hate called Valrico, Florida. I hate Florida and I suffered a really big culture shock because firstly, no signs that said "keen honden poopje" or whatever it said. The funniest sign ever. Also, their McDonalds did not serve krokets. NOT COOL. I went to this silly high school they called "Gucci High" because everyone there was insanely rich. I became a really stupid looking goth, or that's what they called me because I wore really hip black clothes all the time. Black like my soul. I wore knee high boots once because it was hip in Schinveld, and they called me a slut. That's why I hate most American children. And adults too. I went to University of South Florida, and that pretty much bit my balls so I dropped out for a while. Now I work at Barnes & Noble and am going back in the summer to take Deutsch. Cool, hu? I found this site because I've been looking all over for Adam Smolonsky (oooh you're popular!) and he doesn't have a facebook or myspace. Jerk. Anyway, also I visit Kayla Carlson who lives in Sarasota, Florida and goes to Ringling School of the Arts. In addition to that, I am in a one man band (and when I say that I just mean play guitar and sing) and I have a small following at a coffee house called Sacred Grounds. Well, I hope you enjoyed reading this, and if you were my friend and not a backstabber (like some people at AFCENT, you know who you are) then PLEASE contact me and tell me where you are. I would like to visit or have you visit me, there's always a place to say and even some stupid boring things to do in my town.

What I've been up to: First, a Big Thank you to Ruth for being our hostess these last dozen years! A great job done well! Thank you! Well, the OverSeas Brats Homecoming 2007 was a huge success, even if only 7 of us from AFCENT/AFNORTH decided to attend! Myself along with half a dozen beautiful and gorgeous women of the early and late 70's attended! They were:

Karen Maclaine Strauch '73
Julie Wickham DeGitz '73
Teresa Winslett Sanders '73
Nancy Williams Walker '74
Nancy Dixon Xiromamos (71-73)'77
and Colleen Lenahan London (78-80) '81.

We were joined by another 500+ OverSeas Brats from over 30 schools with Alumni gathering from as far back as the late 40's! If you never make it to an AFCENT Reunion, try like heck to go to one of these OverSeas Brats gatherings! You will not be disappointed because as is expressed throughout the entire event, "We (Brats) are all one family with a unique ad rich history shared and gracious!"

Needless to say, I was slightly disappointed in not seeing some of the last minute cancellations but all in all it was a great time and an experience like no other!

I look forward to meeting many of you who have never attended one of our Reunions and maybe I can get some of you involved in other gatherings such as the ones sponsored by OverSeas Brats!

A great big shout of thanks go out to the AFCENT women who attended and joined me in celebrating our schools 40th year Anniversary as we partied and danced the night away in Dallas this summer! I know lots of pictures are on the way, so stay tuned and more importantly stay involved and stay in touch with each other! Another thanks as well to our gracious hostess for keeping us all connected! Kudo's!!

TOT ZIENS!

What I've been up to: Hey friends! I graduated high school in Colorado in 1999. Spent 2 years going to college in Kansas before I made the crazy move to Arizona. I met my husband in 2002.I have been married to Rob since October 2005. In December, 2005 we welcomed our first little boy, Matthew, to the family. We live in Fountain Hills, Arizona (a suburb of Phoenix), Rob is an Electrical Engineer and I manage our church office three days a week.

I miss Europe so much, I would give just about anything to go back. My parents are still Air Force and are trying to get stationed somewhere in the GK/Schinnen area. They live in Eagle River, Alaska these days. For those of you that knew me, you knew that I had about a million brothers and sisters, they are all grown up now, driving and going to college and everything.

Oh, and if you were going to ask, yes, it's hot in Arizona. ;)

What I've been up to: I am still in awe regarding just how many years it has been since I last stepped foot from the Senior hallway and to college and to "real life". After high school it was back to Chicago and then off to Western Illinois University. During college, I met my wife who happened to life in the same dorm and on the same floor as I did. We moved back to her hometown, Orion, Illinois, a sleepy farmtown about 10 minutes outside of the Quad Cities (which consist of Davenport and Bettendorf, Iowa, and Rock Island and Moline, Illinois). I work for John Deere (Moline is where their corporate headquarters is located) as an analyst. I hope the entire class of 1999 is doing well, I miss all the good times we used to have at places like (I haven't thought of nor said these places out loud since graduation or the summer after) The Peppermill, The Meet Point, the liquor store down in Brunssum, where w would skip class and go down there and buy Apfel Korn and that booze in those little bottles, the name escapes my mind. We would spend time down in Maastrict or Heerlen, at Beemers in Geleen, play laser tag and a couple of places that I can't mention :) So many nights and weekends (sometimes weekdays!) spent at Sean Tierney's house, Jeremy Mitzels' house, Jason Meneley's house, a lot of good times that just cannot be done justice in words. I hope all is well with everyone from the class of 1999 and 2000, a couple of "lucky" folks from 2000 were allowed to hang out with us!

I remember lots of Americans (George Hall, Ken Sheppard, Chuck Mann, Greg and Vickie Payne, Carla Brudvig, Cheryl Mattson (now Walker). Singing "dueling" versions of "This Land is Your Land" at the youth hostels, sharing meals after "een ogenblik stilte"...
