Name: Frank "Chicken" Hensley Years at AIHS: 88-91 What I've been up to: Just graduated Flight School as an Apache-Longbow pilot. I just got engaged to Stephanie. I was also promoted to CW2 (Chief Warrant Officer 2). I can retire from the Army in 6 years from now. Hope all of you are doing well and flying high! I hope to be at the next reunion.
Name: Christine Peck Thompson Years at AIHS: 1973-1977 What I've been up to: Hello all you special people. We are bonded together through the years no matter when you attended AFCENT, having spent tender formative years there. I graduated AFCENT in 1977 and went to the University of Tennessee, where I received a degree in Communications. I met my husband and proceeded to chunk out four children, aged 21 to 12 now. Two girls and two boys. I live in Austin Texas, my husband, an engineer and project manager, lives in Las Vegas, so I'll see you at the reunion. I'm starting up a multimedia production company here, in the entertainment biz, and currently hang out with musicians and such. YES! I've turned into a GROUPIE! No, just kidding. Far from it, this is hard work! Hope to see a lot of people from the Village People era. By the way, I am refusing to grow up and refusing to grow old!
Name: Maurie Hampton Years at AIHS: 1994-1997 (2nd-4th grade) What I've been up to: Hey Everyone! Wow..I didn't know there was an Alumni page for AFCENT! :) I moved away from The Netherlands in the 4th grade, and was in Portugal from 5th to 8th grade. I then moved to Aransas Pass, Texas for my high school years. I am now a Senior and am attending Texas A&M University in the fall of 2005. (Gig'em!) Name: Amanda Russell (Now Lawson) Years at AIHS: 1977-1980 What I've been up to: I left AFCENT to return to England with my family (Steve and Cindy). My brother was called Adrian. My dad ran the soccer clubs which were all named after Stars Wars characters! I would really love to hear from anyone who remembers us. We still keep in touch with one family 'The Jenkins'. We used to love going to the cinema, pizza hut, going to the carnivals - and seeing all the yellow school buses. I graduated with BA Hons English degree, worked as a journalist, got married, have had two beautiful girls and am now a stay at home mum. Most of my memories are from 1978!
Name: Tony Anderman Years at AIHS: 1980-1984 What I've been up to: 20 + years and life has treated me well. I have been married for 15 years and have three beautiful children. Since I graduated from AFCENT I have had a chance to do many things in life. I joined the Marine Corp in 1989 and completed my 8 years in 1997. I have earned a Bachelors of Science in education from Southern Illinois University and will be completed with my Masters of Science in Education and Leadership Development from Southern Illinois as of June 2005. I’m currently employed for the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission. I truly like what I do. Name: Stephanie Saint-Thomas Years at AIHS: 1969-1975 What I've been up to: I feel fortunate to have been able to pursue my art career for my whole life. It has taken on many different forms over the years, and you can see my curent work on my website, www.saintthomasart.com.I am happily married to Thomas Scharlow,a wonderful partner and musician. We share our love of the outdoors here in Utah with our various furry, four-legged children. I am thinking about attending the reunion in Las Vegas. Name: Dawn Farrell-Taylor Years at AIHS: 85-89 What I've been up to: My Dad was posted to Ottawa and I left Europe at the end of Junior Year. I attended a local college where I met and eventually married Jeff (1995). I've got a degree from Algonquin College in Business Marketing and Business Office Administration. After Retailing for many years, I am now working for an investment firm as a Branch Assistant. I have a son born in Sept 01 named Cameron. I keep in touch with Charmaine (we were fortunate enough to get posted back to Ottawa together where we both married "locals" and got "stuck" here!!)For those who remember, I have twin sisters, one who works for the Ontario Gov't in the Environment Dept, and the other made my father happy and "joined up" to the RCAF. I'm happy to have found this site.
Name: Dena Minato Years at AIHS: 1985-89 What I've been up to: My husband, Dave Kullowatz, and I taught at AFCENT from 1985-89. Our son, Matthias, was born while we were there, and he is now 17 and soon to graduate from high school. Our daughter, Marissa, is 11; we adopted her from Korea when she was 6 months old. We now live in Albany, Oregon. Dave teaches Social Studies at West Albany High School, and I am an assistant principal at Crescent Valley High School in Corvallis,about 10 miles from Albany. Dave taught Social Studies at AFCENT and I taught English and Journalism. Remember the Lion Tales? We loved our teaching at AFCENT and think about our former students often. We would love to hear from any of you and plan to go to the reunion in Las Vegas in July of 2005. Please write us!!
Name: Sean Smith Years at AIHS: 85-88 (Class of 88) What I've been up to: Graduated from Texas Tech in 1992 with Mario Perez, Dave Longbine, and Dave's older brother Jerry. I was commissioned into Army Aviation the day I graduated. I'm still in, and still flying scouts. 7 more years makes it a career. We're at Ft Rucker AL for about 5 more months, then maybe Kansas for a year. I'm married with 7 year old twin boys, a 2 year old daughter, and one due in August. Can't forget about the dog, the cat, and the bird....a regular zoo. Looking hard at the reunion this summer in Vegas, but have to see what the Army has in store. Name: Rebecca "Becky" Norman Years at AIHS: 1997-2000 What I've been up to: Hey everybody!! I am currently living in Newport News, VA. I work full time at Ferguson Enterprises and am going to school part-time. I live with my boyfriend of 2 years and am so happy. Name: Shannon (Collins) Holley Years at AIHS: 78-89 What I've been up to: Just moved to Fort Irwin, California. My husband of 13 years is a mechanic and just got back from 15 months in Iraq. We have three children, Duncan 12, Maeve 11 and Jenna 8. Life seems all right for now. I am hoping we can make it to the reunion in Las Vegas, that is if the Army allows us the time.
Name: Christine Thomas (Hole) Years at AIHS: 87-90 Grad. 90 What I've been up to: Let me see; I went and got married in Aug. of 91 to my high school sweet heart some of you may remember him, Todd. Then we got him through school and I took a break. I went back to school and got a degree in Culinary Arts and worked in kitchens until I had a baby girl in Nov. 96 her name is Margaret (we call her Maggi unless we are mad). I went on to management after that, until one day I figured out I was not happy and I got out of that and now work in a school kitchen in Findlay, OH and now have time to do the thing that I love to do; be a mom and wife. And I could not be any happier, well maybe if I won the lotto tomorrow! I would love to hear from anyone who remembers me. Some people called me Tina or Thomas twin. Hope every one is doing great. Name: Lita Bell (Reed) Years at AIHS: 86-87 What I've been up to: Well to sum it up in a few short words, I've been a flight attendant for United for 15 years, after 9/11 I lost some people very dear to me, so I became a stay at home mom. I have a wonderful husband and two beautiful children ages 6 & 3. I live in Oklahoma City and have run the Oklahoma Memorial marathon 2 years in a row. I'm looking for anyone who remembers me!

I was so happy to find the AFCENT web site and would love to find someone I know! Eventually I would like to make it to a reunion. Name: Peter Emery - British Section Years at AIHS: 1970-1973 What I've been up to: What a lot of water has passed under the bridge since 1973. Had a dozen or more jobs of various types in the UK. Now my Australian wife and I own a travel agency in Queensland, Australia. Often think of my AFCENT days. Wasn't it a great school? Best I attended - and I've been to several.
Name: Leigh (Yates) Zollinger Years at AIHS: 84-87 What I've been up to: It has been interesting to read what everyone has been up to over the years- how time flies! I have been married for 13 years this coming July and have 2 boys. My husband is an Armor officer currently stationed in Korea(so if anybody from AFCENT is in Korea also drop me a line). I recently finished my master's degree and am a family nurse practitioner. Before that I have been working in various hospitals as an Emergency room nurse. I had hopes of attending the reunion but with the current move, it will not work out. Before we moved over here, we lived in Kansas and hope to return there in about a year. Hope everyone is doing well!
Name: Crystal Mathews Trimnal Years at AIHS: 85-90 What I've been up to: I moved back to South Carolina when my father retired, and even though I tried several times I have never moved from here. I have been married, divorced, and re-married (almost 7 years now). I have two sons, 12 (Daniel) and 4 (Edward). As for jobs I have been employed with the county as a 911 dispatcher, basically I tell everyone where to go :) I keep in touch with Kim Dowdy and Bryan Sykes (lost contact with Scott Weaver about 3 years ago), I also lost touch with a ton of people that I would like to talk to again....
Name: Heidi (Knauer) Freeman Years at AIHS: 1983-1985 What I've been up to: After graduating from AFCENT in '85, I went to Washington State University and received my degree in 1991. I worked at the Bon Marche (now Macy's) for 10 years and then decided to open my own Dogwalking/Petsitting/Dog Boarding business. I have been in business 5 years and love it. I can't imagine going back to a 9-5 job! I am married to a Tugboat Captain, Erik and we have 1 daughter, Marina May who is 3 years old. I am very happy and really enjoyed the AFCENT 20 year reunion in Las Vegas this past weekend. What a blast! It was great to see everyone!

Name: Tim Taylor Years at AIHS: 89-93 What I've been up to: I'm in the Air Force working out of Honolulu, HI. 8 years in already. I've still got one year left on my tour here and then figuring out what I want to do when I grow up. Just spending my time traveling and playing as much as I can.
Name: Jason Johann Years at AIHS: 1996-1998 What I've been up to: I am a grad at Loyola University, where I am finishing up med school. Things could not be better for me. I was a 98 grad at AFCENT and now I am trying to locate my friends from AFCENT. I am working to complete my masters for internal medicine, then on to get my doctorate. I always loved attending AFCENT and thank the many teachers who helped me get where I am today.
Name: Stephanie (Gingrich) VanMeter Years at AIHS: 91 What I've been up to: Recently moved to North Carolina from Colorado with my husband and our 2 children, Alex is 3 and Kasey is 2. We like it here, sometimes the humidity can get to you. Sure is different than Colorado. It's really cool to read up on how everyone is doing. If you remember me- email me. Name: Scott King Years at AIHS: 1987-1990 Class of 1992 What I've been up to: Attended GK from 84 to 86, then AFCENT junior high (87-88) and high school (89-90). After AFCENT moved to Guam then Co Springs, CO. Joined the Air Force (currently an E6/Technical Sgt, Security Forces)and have moved around a bit -Georgia, Montana, Korea, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, now stationed in Las Vegas and hopefully moving in a few months. Married with a 9 year old daughter and another on the way. I stumbled across this site and noticed a few familiar names. Wish I would have stayed in contact with more of ya! Those of you that were in my class, I was a slacker, skater guy that generally clowned around and barely passed! Grew up a little, but I still love skateboarding and punk rock music! Name: Cathy Stander Years at AIHS Class of '73 What I've been up to: I went to AFCENT from the last half of 1971 and graduated in 1973. Since 1976 I have lived in Nebraska and the past 15 years have been spent in a rural town called Weeping Water. Last January, my husband , Jeff and I went to Europe and we visited the Brunssum area. Deja Vu! We spent a couple weeks in Germany with my daughter and husband and I could live there! My maiden name is BUEHRE and of course few people know how to pronounce it. My married name is Stander. Much has changed since I grew up a few years ago. I have four grown children and am about to be grandma for the second time. (Hair dye is my friend.) I spent most of my adult years in the medical field but received my calling as pastor (It is okay to laugh because I still do ) about six years ago. I pastor a Discples of Christ Church in Louisville, Ne. And I am still a human being. Pastors tend to clear a room real quick when people find out their profession. The last time I was in contact with the class of '73, the big mystery question was, "Where is Don Elwein?"

Name: David Morris Years at AIHS: 1983 - 1985 What I've been up to: It has been a long time since AFCENT and so much has happened. I am married for 5 years and have a wonderful son. Currently living in Milwaukee, WI working at Rockwell Automation as a Process Implementation Specialist (Finally, I get to tell people what to do, and how to do it). In my spare time, however rare that is, I am attending Marquette University. I don't know what I want to be when I grow up yet. I also volunteer a lot of my time to non-profit organizations and do a lot of photography as well as travel all over the world.

After leaving college in 1992 due to a knee injury I attended barber college. I barbered for 7 years, and I now work for Texas Juvenile probation officer. I live in Houston with my wife Yesenia.

We knew most of your parents and it's great to see how well everyone is doing! Wally and I live near Boston, MA. We have one son Chase, he is nearly 15 now. Wally's daughter graduates from FSU this year. He is a Director for Staples Hqts in the PMO office. I have been a realtor and now manage an office for 10 years. We have fond memories of our time in Europe and are planning to go for a visit in April 06. Best wishes to all!

Name: Monica Longbine (Poynor) Years at AIHS: 84-90 What I've been up to: When my dad retired in 1990, we moved to Amarillo Texas and I went to a cosmetology school. I did that for a year and got married. We had a son while he was in the Air Force and he got out and I went into the Air Force at 25 years old and am stationed in Abilene Texas, which I have been for 7 years. We had another child then we got divorced 3 1/2 years ago.. I remarried a year ago and have a step son, as well. It has been fun looking at all of these comments and I want to tell Dondra Tollerson hello, as well as JT and Crystal Matthews. I saw all of your posts on here.
